West Ham United won against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Saturday.

Alan Shearer has praised West Ham United defender Issa Diop on Twitter for his performance against Newcastle United.
Diop played well for West Ham in their 3-0 win against Newcastle away from home at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The 21-year-old central defender was a rock at the back, kept West Bromwich Albion-owned striker Salomon Rondon, and showed his class once again.
According to WhoScored, the France Under-21 international centre-back took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 77.3%, won four headers, and made six tackles, five clearances and one block, and took one shot.
Newcastle legend Shearer, who now works a pundit for BBC Sport, was impressed with the performance produced by Diop, who joined West Ham from Toulouse in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £22 million.

Meanwhile, West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s 3-0 win against Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle on Saturday.
