Tough times ahead

Sunderland are one of the biggest clubs in England, but things have been dire for a while now at the Stadium of Light.

One suspects that the Black Cats will have to offload some of their highest-paid players in the summer transfer window, and they should then sign players who are young and hungry to succeed in the long run and can make an immediate impact at the club.

As for Newcastle, Rafael Benitez’s side look set to retain their Premier League status for the 2018-19 campaign.
