A Leeds United supporter on Twitter has accused Newcastle United icon Alan Shearer of bias on BBC’s Match of the Day.
Newcastle recorded only their second Premier League victory of the season on Saturday by winning 1-0 away to the Elland Road outfit.
Having beaten West Ham in London last week, Leeds would’ve been favourite to exacerbate the Magpies’ relegation concerns by picking up three points.
However, a goal from Jonjo Shelvey was enough to Eddie Howe’s troops all three points.
According to BBC Sport, Leeds bossed the contest in terms of possession, finishing up with 63 percent, but the visitors had more shots [15 to 13].
Shearer has been accused of focusing heavily on Newcastle during his analysis on Match of the Day last night, despite the Whites being perceived by the supporter to have dominated the game.

Were Leeds the better team?
In a single word, absolutely. But will Newcastle care? Not one iota – and nor should they.
When you’ve only won one Premier League game all season and have been 19th for the majority of it, results are much more important than performances and that’s what the Tyneside outfit got, a result.
It certainly wasn’t a classic performance, and Leeds did dominate for large spells but, again, the Magpies took the three points and that’ll fill them with so much belief that they can kick on now and survive this relegation battle.
