Liverpool will be desperate to win the Premier League title this season.

Alan Shearer backed Liverpool to win the Premier League title this season, when speaking exclusively to BBC Sport.
The Reds were mightily unlucky not to win the title last season, missing out by just one point to Manchester City, having amassed a superb 97 point tally.
Jurgen Klopp has signed young duo Harvey Elliot and Sepp van den Berg this summer, neither of whom are likely to feature regularly for Liverpool’s first-team this term.
They do still have one of the best squads in Europe, however, and it will be no surprise to see them pushing City all the way once again this season.
And Shearer suggested that he has a feeling that this season could be Liverpool’s year, when speaking exclusively to BBC Sport:

“It is going to be City and Liverpool going head to head for the title again and I think it is going to be very close – they are both exceptional teams but I just have a feeling Liverpool will edge it this time.”
The Reds kick off their Premier League campaign at home to Norwich City tonight, and Klopp will be keen for his side to pick up from where they left off last season.
They shouldn’t have any problems against the Canaries, but stiffer tests undoubtedly lie ahead.
And it will be interesting to see whether Shearer’s faith in Liverpool is well-placed come May.
