Newcastle United drew with Cardiff City in the Premier League on Saturday.

Alan Shearer has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Newcastle United’s draw with Cardiff City.
Newcastle played out a goalless draw with Cardiff away from home at the Cardiff City Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
It was a hugely disappointing game that left much to be desired, although there were two major incidents.
Isaac Hayden was sent off for Newcastle midway through the second half for his challenge on Josh Murphy.
Then in injury time, Chelsea-owned winger Kenedy failed to cover a penalty for Rafael Benitez’s side.
Newcastle legend Shearer has said on Twitter that the penalty from 22-year-old Brazilian – who returned to the Magpies on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea in the summer transfer window – was awful.
The former England international striker has also criticised Hayden for his challenge on Murphy.

According to The Mirror (Transfer Live blog, 05:14am, Friday, August 17, 2018), Championship duo Aston Villa and Stoke City are interested in signing the 23-year-old defensive midfielder (click here to read more) – who earns who earns £22,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.
Former Newcastle defender Steve Howey has also given his take on Twitter on Kenedy’s penalty save and on the match.
