Two Tottenham Hotspur players have made Alan Shearer’s Premier League Team of the Week this time around, and the pundit has reserved special praise for Dejan Kulusevski.
The Swedish winger has made a serious impact since joining Tottenham on deadline day. He was sublime against Manchester City last weekend, and he was at it again against Leeds on Saturday.
Kulusevski grabbed his second goal in five games against the Whites, and Shearer believes that Kulusevski is an inspired signing for Tottenham.
What’s been said?
Shearer gave the winger a glowing review.
“Another goal and another very good all-round performance by the Swede, who looks an inspired loan signing,” Shearer said.
Meanwhile, the pundit also reserved some praise for Harry Kane:
“A well-taken goal and another sublime pass to assist Son Heung-min and set the record for Premier League goal combinations.”

Credit to Paratici
Tottenham may have left it late in January, but it seems as though they may have gotten their signings right on deadline day.
Rodrigo Bentancur hasn’t made a massive impact as of yet, but as Shearer says, Kulusevski looks like a brilliant addition to this squad.
Of course, Fabio Paratici knew these players well from his time at Juventus, and without his influence, perhaps Spurs wouldn’t have gone after these two.
Paratici hasn’t had the best of starts to life at Spurs, but you have to give him credit where it’s due for the signings of Kulusevski.
