Chelsea-owned Kenedy scored twice for Newcastle United against Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday.

Newcastle United returned to winning ways on Saturday afternoon, as they got the better of Southampton 3-0 at home in the Premier League.
The Magpies were the better team from start to finish and deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter at St. James’ Park.
Kenedy was the star of the show, as the 22-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as a left-back, scored twice.

The Brazilian, who joined Newcastle on loan from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the January transfer window, found the net first in the second minute and then on 20 minutes.
Newcastle legend Alan Shearer was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Kenedy, while Southampton great Matt Le Tissier was bitterly disappointed to see the Saints drop all three points.
The result on Saturday afternoon means that Newcastle are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment, while Southampton are just a point above the relegation zone.
