Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers are ahead of Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic.

Rangers are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 34 points from 17 matches, a point clear of Celtic who are currently third in the standings having played 16 games.
“The change in attitude is let’s keep a lid on it,” Rough said on PLZ Soccer about Rangers. “But if I was in that Rangers dressing room and in-house, I’ll be saying, ‘Look, we have got a chance here’.”
“There’s a Celtic game coming up at Ibrox, and if they keep a lid on it and believe that on the day they can do it, as Hibs have proved, then I think we could have a title race on our hands,” added Rough.

Sensible advice
Celtic remain the best team in Scotland, and Brendan Rodgers’s side are the favourites to win the Scottish Premiership title this season.
Rangers are doing well at the moment, but the Glasgow giants should not get carried away just yet, as there is a long way to go.
While the Rangers players should certainly feel confident and buoyant in the dressing room about their chances of winning the title this season, they should be careful about raising the fans’ expectations by speaking about it in public.
Finishing second and giving Celtic a run for their money in the Scottish Premiership this season will be a success for Rangers.
