Alan Pardew has said that it must bother Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) are the club’s owners.

The former Newcastle boss has told The Times that Howe is “an intelligent person”.

Pardew believes that it will surely bother the English manager about the ownership of Newcastle.

Saudi Arabi’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) own 80% of Newcastle.

RB Sports & Media (10%) and PCP Capital Partners (10%) are the minatory shareholders in the Premier League club.

Alan Pardew on Eddie Howe, Newcastle United and PIF

Pardew said: “If you’re an intelligent person then it must bother you and I know Eddie is an intelligent person, but it can sway you, that job, the attraction of Newcastle.”

Progressing and developing

Now, Alan Pardew is not the first person to share his doubts about Newcastle owners PIF, but there is nothing anyone can do now.

PIF have bought Newcastle and are here to stay.

And the St. James’ Park faithful are witnessing the effects on the pitch.

It’s all positive.

Newcastle are doing extremely well in the Premier League at the moment and could end up in the top four of the table.

If the Magpies qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League, then it could catapult the club into a whole new level.

Newcastle would be able to attract top-quality players, and it could see the Magpies eventually establish themselves as regulars in the top four or top six of the Premier League table.
