Tottenham Hotspur were interested in signing Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has suggested to The Sun that Tottenham Hotspur should have offered £50 million for Wilfried Zaha in the summer transfer window.
Palace chairman Steve Parish told talkSPORT last month that Tottenham were interested in signing the 23-year-old winger.
Parish claimed that Spurs had offered £12 million as transfer fee in order to secure the services of the England international.

The Palace chairman also made it clear that Zaha was not for sale in the summer transfer window.
Pardew has given his take on the situation, suggesting that Tottenham should have made an offer of £50m if they were serious about the former Manchester United winger.
“I thought Wilf (Zaha) was terrific and he deserved the assist and the goal,” Pardew told The Sun following Palace’s match against Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon.
“I don’t think he was as close as people think (to leaving) l because there wasn’t about £50m on the table. He showed qualities, offensively and defensively.”

Zaha is a talented and promising winger, and he is a key member of the current Palace team.
The 23-year-old scored the winner for Palace against Middlesbrough in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The winger found the net in the 47th minute to help the Eagles get the better of Boro 2-1 away from home at the Riverside Stadium.
Zaha has scored one goal and created five chances in four Premier League appearances for Palace so far this season.
