West Bromwich Albion have endured a woeful Premier League campaign so far this season.

West Brom manager Alan Pardew spoke to reporters ahead of his side’s hugely important clash with Bournemouth tomorrow, and raved about the quality of Salomon Rondon, labelling the striker as a ‘tremendous person’, as quoted by the Express & Star.
The Baggies have been nothing short of woeful this season, and are currently marooned at the bottom of the Premier League table, eight points adrift of safety, with only eight games remaining.
Rondon has been one of the few West Brom players to emerge from this season with any credit whatsoever, though.

The Venezuelan has scored eight goals in all competitions this term, but his overall contribution to his team often gets overlooked, with unselfish runs into the channels being the main feature of his play.
Pardew addressed the media yesterday, and highlighted how Rondon is a pleasure to work with, sharing his hope that the 28-year-old is on the verge of a goalscoring run to compliment his hard work, as quoted by the Express & Star:

“He’s a great striker to work with. I’ve had strikers before who have had runs. I remember Bobby Zamora went for long periods without scoring and then would have a little burst or a spell. I hope, fingers crossed, Salomon gets a burst like that. His work-rate and the way he is around the group, I think he’s a tremendous person.”
Next up for the Baggies is their huge clash with Bournemouth tomorrow, and what Pardew wouldn’t give for a couple of goals from Rondon and a win for his beleaguered side.
