The West Bromwich Albion striker has always shown a willingness to work hard for his team.

West Brom manager Alan Pardew addressed the media yesterday, ahead of his side’s clash with Burnley today, and offered high words of praise for Salomon Rondon, suggesting that he is one of the few players who has given him everything since he took over in November, as quoted by the Express & Star.
The Baggies are currently in all sorts of trouble, and sit firmly rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table, 10 points adrift of safety, and have just seven games left to save themselves.

They probably need six wins from those seven outings, if they are to avoid the drop, and considering the fact that they have won just three games all season long, relegation to the Championship seems to be a dead cert.
Pardew spoke to reporters during his pre-match press conference yesterday, and admitted that there have not been many players who he can look in the eye and say they’ve given him everything since he took over, as quoted by the Express & Star:

“The way I like to play is with a reference point at the top of the pitch which is why I side with Salomon in that role more than Jay or Hal (Robson-Kanu). He’s as good a reference point as I’ve managed. In every moment, in training and games, he’s fought like hell. He’s the one player I can look in the eye and say he’s given me everything.”
Following the Baggies’ clash with Burnley today, Pardew’s men welcome Swansea City to the Hawthorns next Saturday, and nothing less than a return of six points form those two games will do, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of avoiding the drop this term.
