West Bromwich Albion are likely to have two players back from injury for their Premier League clash with Swansea City.

As reported by West Brom’s official Twitter account, Alan Pardew has suggested that the Baggies are set to have both Matt Phillips and Chris Brunt back for their crucial Premier League clash with Swansea City this weekend, but there is less positive news regarding Gareth Barry.
West Brom will be hoping to end their wait for a Premier League win when they face the Swans at the Liberty Stadium this weekend. August was the last time the Baggies won a game – but perhaps the division’s bottom side is the perfect opponent to come up against, especially with the momentum gained from Pardew’s recent appointment.

And it appears that they will have a further boost with Brunt and Phillips ready to feature. Phillips missed the draw with Crystal Palace, while Brunt has not played since the most recent international break.

However, there is less positive news regarding Barry. The veteran had to be replaced just half an hour into the Palace stalemate, and Pardew has suggested that he is set to miss this weekend’s game, as well as the upcoming midweek clash with Liverpool.
Not having Barry back will be a blow as he has been impressive since arriving at The Hawthorns from Everton in the summer, but the news surrounding Phillips and Brunt will be a boost.
Both players bring creativity to the side, and that may be all that is needed as the Baggies look to turn their last few positive performances into some wins that will lift them away from trouble.
