Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are said to be interested in West Bromwich Albion striker Tyler Roberts’ future.

Roberts has spent this season on loan at Walsall and the youngster has impressed in League One.

However, Pardew wants to take a look at Roberts’ talents before selling him permanently, and has suggested that the youngster could yet be promoted into West Brom’s first-team.
“It’s so that I know in January I’m making the right call,” said Pardew. “But it may be an opportunity for them to grab a substitute’s jersey and a first-team place. That’s the message I gave them.”
If Roberts was to move to Rangers there would be no guarantees that he would be given a starting place by Graeme Murty.

Alfredo Morelos has a credible scoring record for Rangers this term, and looks to be the Glasgow side’s first choice striker.
Roberts does appear to have a considerable amount of potential though, and could be seen as one for the future at Ibrox.
Roberts has scored five goals and claimed three assists in 15 League One appearances for Walsall this term.
