Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a sensational move for Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale recently.
Talk of a potential Bale return to Tottenham has begun to build momentum in recent times, with the Welsh superstar’s future at Real Madrid falling into some doubt.
And Pardew admits that Bale’s arrival at Tottenham could turn them into Premier League title winners, but he simply cannot see the move taking place.

Pardew said: “I can’t see him at Tottenham. I think the money is irrelevant to Bale now, it’s about ambition.
“I wouldn’t disagree with that [Spurs need a big signing to win the league]. “This is a season where if Spurs kept everybody fit for the season they could win the league. But it’s that 12th, 13th, 14th player. If you bring Gareth Bale in and one [of the starting XI] drops to the bench, it looks a lot better, but I can’t see it happening personally.”
Bale started for Real Madrid last night in the Super Cup final, as Los Blancos beat Manchester United 2-1.
Bale’s last year has been blighted by injury problems, sparking rumours that he could be set for an exit from the Bernabeu in the near future.
During Bale’s first spell at Tottenham he became a legend of the North London club, after some brilliant performances.
Bale turned from a talented youngster in a global superstar at Spurs, scoring 55 goals in 203 games for the Lilywhites.
