West Bromwich Albion haven’t shown huge sign of improvement under Alan Pardew as of yet.

Alan Pardew has admitted to The Express and Star that his West Bromwich Albion side are struggling with creativity following Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Swansea City.
Wilfried Bony’s 81st-minute winner was enough to ensure that West Brom have now lost five of their last eight Premier League games, having failed to win any of their last 15 in all competitions.
It was only Pardew’s second game in charge after replacing Tony Pulis, but the Baggies are yet to score under the 56-year-old manager – who threw on James McClean and Oliver Burke in the second half yesterday – following last week’s stalemate with Crystal Palace at The Hawthorns.

Albion have only created one big chance in the two games that Pardew has overseen – and only 14 from their 16 Premier League games this season. And the former Newcastle boss has admitted that his troops are lacking something of a spark in the attacking sense.
“Well, I’ve used every offensive player I’ve had pretty much and still couldn’t find a moment,” he told The Express and Star when asked if there was enough quality in the squad.
“My teams have always managed to score. Sometimes you could question my defensive record but my teams have always managed to score goals. We’re finding it difficult to create chances.”

Pardew’s words read like he is going to strengthen his attacking options in January.
It was not only the results which saw Pulis sacked by West Brom – it was also the tedious nature of Albion’s performances which irked fans and they should be looking forward to the prospect of Pardew adding some exciting forward-thinking players during the transfer window.
