The Sky Sports pundit hailed the Tottenham Hotspur ace.

Alan McInally has sung the praises of Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen during an interview with Sky Sports.

Tottenham thumped Hull City 3-0 at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night to stay fifth in the Premier League and three points behind Manchester City in fourth.

The in-form Danish playmaker netted twice in either half to effectively seal the points, with Victor Wanyama tapping home a third after the post denied Eriksen a hat-trick with a fine free kick.

The 24-year-old has netted five Premier League goals in his last four outings and McInally singled him out for praise whilst talking to Sky Sports.

He said: “Man of the Match was easily Christian Eriksen. He was absolutely superb; scored two goals, made another. He was just different class.

The Lilywhites are 10 points behind top-of-the-table Chelsea but Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be looking at the top four for the moment.

And they could potentially move level on points with the Sky Blues this weekend. If Spurs beat Burnley on Saturday, and Arsenal beat Manchester City at the Etihad on Sunday then Tottenham would jump into fourth spot.
