Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are in the race for the Premier League top four this season.

The race for the Premier League top four is hotting up. Chelsea are virtually guaranteed to claim a Champions League place, but the other three spots are up for grabs.
Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are second, third and fourth respectively in the Premier League table at the moment.
Liverpool and Manchester United are currently fifth and sixth respectively in the standings and are very much in the race for a top-four finish.
It is not easy to predict the three teams who will end up behind Chelsea in the table. After all, until a few weeks ago Liverpool looked like genuine title challengers, and in the opening months of the season United appeared to be struggling.
Former Charlton Athletic and West Ham United manager Alan Curbishley, who is 59 years of age, has made his prediction regarding the teams who will end up in the Champions League places this season.
According to Curbishley, Liverpool and Tottenham will be disappointed in their quest to finish in the top four of the Premier League during the 2016-17 campaign.
“Obviously Chelsea,” The Express quotes Curbishley as saying when asked who will finish in the top four. “I mentioned Man City as being the ones will run them the closest. I’ll have to go for Man United and Arsenal. I’m leaving out Tottenham and Liverpool.
“Maybe because of Tottenham’s squad and until the weekend, I can’t remember Liverpool keeping a clean sheet. They need to score a couple of goals to get something and that’s their downfall.”
