West Ham United are not having a good season in the Premier League.

Alan Curbishley predicted on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, April 10, 2017) that West Ham United will not sack Slaven Bilic this season.

Bilic has come under pressure due to West Ham’s recent disappointing performances and results in the Premier League.

The Hammers are 14th in the league table at the moment with 36 points from 32 matches, eight points above the relegation zone.

The London outfit were expected to challenge for a top-10 or a top-six finish in the Premier League this campaign, but things are not going according to plan.

Former West Ham manager Curbishley believes that the club’s chiefs will not sack Bilic this season.

Curbishley, though, has criticised West Ham for not making the right signings in the summer of 2016.

The Hammers signed a number of players last summer, including Sofiane Feghouli, Ashley Fletcher and Simone Zaza (loan).

“I think perhaps this season, because of the move, the injuries, etc etc, I think they will probably be saying ‘let’s see how he starts off next year’,” said Curbishley on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, April 10, 2017).

“I think that’s where they are at at the moment. I think they will look back at the recruitment in the summer. It was poor.”

West Ham will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Sunderland away from home at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League.
