Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the Premier League.

Alan Brazil suggested on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Friday morning (broadcast from 6am, December 2, 2016) a weakness in Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane’s game.

The former Tottenham and Manchester United forward has suggested that Kane does not have tremendous pace.

“First of all, I am really happy that Tottenham have signed him up again,” said Brazil on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Friday morning (broadcast from 6am, December 2, 2016) while discussing whether Kane has the potential to be a world-class striker.

“I am really happy that Harry keeps finding the back of the net, but when you are looking at world-class strikers and forwards, one thing that Harry probably wouldn’t have is tremendous pace, but what he does, he makes up for that by his movement, his ability and he has got a fantastic knack in front of goal, finding the net.”

Brazil’s observation about Kane is spot-on – the England international striker does not have a lot of pace.

However, the 23-year-old’s movement and link-up play is perfect, and there can be no denial that he is an all-round good footballer.

The Englishman is playing well at the moment after recovering from injury.

Kane has scored five goals and created 10 chances in eight Premier League appearances for Spurs so far this season.

Tottenham are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 24 points from 13 matches.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are seven points behind leaders Chelsea and are very much in the race for the league title this season.

The North London outfit will take on Swansea City at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
