Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Neil Lennon’s Celtic are aiming to play in Europe next season.

Former Manchester United forward Brazil – who now works as a presenter on talkSPORT and stated in The Sunday Post in July 2017 that he is red-hot Celtic fan – does not think that Rangers will have any problem in negotiating the qualifying rounds in their attempt to play in the Europa League group stage during the 2019-20 campaign.
Brazil has also backed Celtic to get the job done in the Champions League qualifiers and play in Europe’s premier club competition next season.
Meanwhile, Sir Kenny Dalglish has suggested in The Sunday Post (print edition, Post Match, July 7, 2019) the Celtic’s first-round qualifying tie against FK Sarajevo is tricky.
Lennon’s Celtic will take on FK Sarajevo, with the first leg away from Celtic Park, while Rangers will face St. Joseph’s, with the first leg to be played away from Ibrox.

Dalglish wrote in The Sunday Post (print edition, Post Match, July 7, 2019): “On paper, the trickiest tie is probably for Neil Lennon, whose team head for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo are full-time, and there are always more-than-decent players in that neck of the woods.
“The Hoops travel for the away leg on Tuesday night and will be keen to bring a workable result back to Parkhead for the return leg.”
Brazil wrote in The Sunday Post (print edition, Post Match, July 7, 2019): “The Gers made the group stages last year and are aiming to do the same again. Given a decent draw, Steven Gerrard will think there’s no reason why his side can’t get the job done.”
Brazil added: “But Neil Lennon has led the Bhoys to the group stage before – and I believe he can do it again.”
