Alfredo Morelos is an important player for Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers.
Alfredo Morelos of Rangers
Former Manchester United forward Brazil – who now works as a presenter on talkSPORT and stated in The Sunday Post in July 2017 that he is red-hot Celtic fan – believes that Morelos is a liability for Rangers and is a “serious problem”.
Brazil wrote in The Sunday Post (print edition, Post Match, August 4, 2019): “As far as I’m concerned, Morelos is a liability whose indiscipline has far outweighed his goals tally. When the chips are down in big games, he has proved time and again that he’s a serious problem.”
Improvement needed
Morelos is a very good striker who has led the line well for Rangers, but the problem with the Colombia international is that he is hot-tempered and does get himself sent off far too many times.
The striker also tends to struggle in big games, especially in Old Firm derbies against Celtic, and the 23-year-old needs to look into this issue as well.

What is clear, though, is that Morelos is an important player for Rangers, and manager Steven Gerrard needs to keep hold of him beyond the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old scored 18 goals and provided four assists in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers last season, according to BBC Sport.
