Alan Brazil claims that Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has asked about Marco Silva

Everton beat Watford 3-2 in their most recent Premier League match.

Alan Brazil has told the Breakfast Show, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 8th November, that he has heard Farhad Moshiri went to Watford’s owners and asked about the availability of Marco Silva, following Everton’s match against the Hornets last weekend.

Everton are still looking for a replacement for former boss Ronald Koeman, and Silva is believed to be on their wishlist.

Moshiri is thought to have been very impressed by Silva’s time in charge at Watford, and would like to bring the promising manager to Goodison Park.

The Everton owner reportedly made moves to check on Silva’s availability recently, but Watford’s board gave him a swift hands-off warning.

“I’ve heard that Moshiri went over to the Watford owners after the game and asked if he could speak to their manager… [they said] ‘no, go away’,” Brazil said.

Everton actually came from behind against Watford to pick up a crucial three points.

The Toffees fell 2-0 down against Watford, but managed to turn the game around to claim three points.

Watford’s defeat at Goodison Park does not appear to have put Moshiri off Silva, as he looks to find Everton’s next manager.

Everton are currently on a two week break from competitive action, with their next match coming against Crystal Palace.
