Celtic, Rangers and Arsenal will be hoping to make their mark in Europe next season.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang applauds the Arsenal fans after the Premier League match between Burnley FC and Arsenal FC at Turf Moor on May 12, 2019 in Burnley, United Kingdom.

Alan Brazil has claimed that the Celtic and Rangers supporters would sell out Arsenal’s ticket allocation for the Europa League final as they are struggling to sell out.

The Sun have claimed that Arsenal have been phoning fans in a bid to sell their tickets for the final, which is being played in Azerbaijan’s capital, Baku.

It is said that the North London club have sold 3,500 of their 6,000 tickets amid the farce of the final being played in Baku as fans struggle to make the 5,600 trip because of expenses and other difficulties.

Speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show on TalkSport (23/05/2019 at 7:25 am), Brazil was told about the above report and he issued this response.

On Arsenal struggling to sell tickets: “Can I just say that is the difference between Arsenal and Celtic and Rangers,” Brazil told TalkSport. “If Celtic, Rangers, I don’t care, they would take their allocation.”

There is no doubt that Celtic, Rangers and Arsenal have huge support, but the problems in Baku are seemingly affecting both teams playing in the final.

Celtic secured their eighth Scottish Premiership title in a row this season and they will be hoping to secure their passage to the Champions League group stages for the next campaign.

As for Steven Gerrard’s side, he will be hoping his team can make their mark on the Europa League, as the Glasgow duo could effectively come up against an English team in Europe next term.
