Celtic and Rangers will battle it out again next season for the Scottish Premiership.

Alan Brazil has admitted that he’ll get ‘slagged off’ by some Celtic fans for thinking that the Scottish Premiership needs a ‘strong’ Rangers next season.
The Bhoys have dominated Scotland’s domestic circuit for the past three seasons, but a seemingly rising Rangers will want to stop that next season.
Steven Gerrard’s side fell nine points behind their Old Firm rivals during the recently concluded season, with Neil Lennon guiding the club to yet another treble.

TalkSport host Brazil stated that a competitive Rangers, as well as other teams in the league, is contributing to an increase in attendances and in order for that to continue, there needs to be a competitive league.
“I’ll get slagged off by some Celtic fans for saying it,” Brazil told the Sunday Post. “But I don’t care. We need a strong Rangers, a strong Aberdeen, and a strong challenge from Edinburgh.
“Celtic fans can be one-eyed and think: We want to win it every year. I get that. In an ideal world, I’d want Celtic to win it every year, too! But the best way to win it would be to win it having fought off a challenge from other teams.
“If that means Rangers come close, I’m fine with that. I bet a fifth year of increased attendances at Scottish games would be the result.”

The up and coming summer transfer window will play a big part in how the Scottish Premiership title unfolds next season and who will be walking away with the title.
Steven Gerrard will no doubt add more fresh legs to his squad, whilst Lennon will also be working towards improving his team for a potential nine in a row.
Added with that, the recent head-to-head against the Old Firm duo could also play its part in what happens for what is expected to be a mouthwatering 2019/20 season.
