Al-Nassr seem to have identified their next target, this time it is someone Cristiano Ronaldo knows well having played with him before.

The Saudi Pro League side are undeterred by the supposed FIFA ban on registering players they have been subjected to and are targeting their next signing.

The club have already added Marcelo Brozovic to their ranks this window following the huge signing of Ronaldo in January.

It has now been reported that Al-Nassr are set to make a move for one of Cristiano Ronaldo’s former teammates from Manchester United.

The Daily Mail Online can reveal that Alex Telles is now a target for the club. Manchester United are said to be extremely interested in discussing a sale for the left-back in an attempt to raise funds as they target a striker.

The singing of the Brazilian would probably be with the same intention as Hakim Ziyech was targeted for, to cross the ball onto Ronaldo’s head.

What would Telles bring to Al-Nassr

Telles typically as a Brazilian loves to attack with his offensive qualities far outweighing his defensive.

At just 30-years-old still has plenty left in the tank and will have a point to prove following a disappointing few years.

Telles’ best days came at in his time at Porto when he was captain, making 195 appearances for the club.

He contributed 26 goals and 57 assists in his time there, earning himself a move to Manchester United where he made 50 appearances over two seasons notching up eight assists and one rather remarkable goal.

He could represent a great signing for Al-Nassr and is a player who is still in his prime following a Europa League triumph with Sevilla last season.
