Al-Nassr midfielder Anderson Talisca has spoken out after reports recently linked the midfielder with a move away from the Saudi club.

Talisca, who joined the club back in 2021, has been linked with a move away from the club but has been quick to dismiss talk of a move away from the club.

“Unlike the fake news emerging recently, I would like to make it clear that I have no ongoing negotiations with any club,” the Brazilian midfielder said according to Fabrizio Romano.

“I’ve got no intention to leave Al Nassr. I’m very happy here and I’ve just renewed my contract for three years more”.

The midfielder has scored 44 goals and provided eight assists for the Saudi side in 64 games since his move in 2021.

The Brazilian midfielder has been influential for the Saudi side but has quashed talk about his potential departure.

The midfielder has been linked with a move away from the club but it seems the midfielder is keen on staying with Al-Nassr and playing with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Talisca’s pivotal midfield role

The midfielder has been very consistent since his move from the Turkish side Besiktas back in 2021 and has scored 20 goals in back-to-back seasons since the move.

Despite Al-Nassr signing Ronaldo and former Liverpool winger Sadio Mane, it’s hard to underestimate just how important the Brazilian is to the Saudi side.

It could be said that the midfielder is one of the most important players on the team despite Ronaldo’s influence.

The midfielder has been influential for the Saudi side and it would be a huge blow to the Saudi side if he were to make the move away from the club.

But, as he suggested, it seems likely that the midfielder will be staying in the Middle East this coming season.
