After the success of Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld, Spurs are attempting to raid Ajax again for Justin Kluivert.

Justin Kluivert has a lot to live up to. His father Patrick one of the greatest Dutch players of his generation, after all.
Kluivert senior became the youngest player ever to score in a European cup final when he netted the winner for Ajax against AC Milan in the 1995 Champions League final aged just 18 years and 10 months.

Justin, at the same age, is not going to achieve the same feat with Ajax knocked out of both the Champions League and Europa League at the qualifying stage at the start of this season. The 18-year-old winger could prove to be just as talented as the former Barcelona striker, however.
Tottenham Hotspur certainly seem to think so. Sky Sports claims that Spurs have tracked Kluivert junior for some time as they strive to bring some of the world’s top young talent, including Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Kai Havertz and Ajax team-mate Donny Van de Beek, to North London.
Reared in Ajax, made in North London
Though it’s not just Kluivert’s famous genes that will have Spurs fans expecting a lot. The path from Ajax to Tottenham is one well-travelled and the Dutch Under-21 international certainly has a tough act to follow.

Jan Vertonghen and Davinson Sanchez both moved directly from Amsterdam to London while Toby Alderweireld made the switch via spells at Atletico Madrid and Southampton. The trio have now arguably formed the finest backline in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Christian Eriksen has evolved from a talented young midfielder into one of the world’s most effective playmakers since moving to Spurs from the Eredivisie giants back in 2013.
Can Kluivert become the latest Ajax-reared star to become truly top class at Tottenham?
