Premier League duo Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City reportedly want to sign Ajax’s Champions League right-back Mazraoui.

Ajax coach Erik Ten Hag has hailed reported Tottenham and Leicester City target Noussair Mazraoui after his impressive return to the starting XI, telling Voetbal Primeur that he had been well below the standards expected in the early weeks of the season.
The Morocco international made 48 appearances in all competitions during an excellent breakthrough campaign in 2018/19, starring at right-back as the Amsterdam giants won the domestic double and reached the Champions League semi-finals for the first time this century.
Mazraoui found himself behind 18-year-old Serginho Dest in the pecking order after his form took a nosedive at the start of this season, however, though his lack of game time did not put off alleged suitors Spurs and Leicester, as reported by ASRomaLive.
The 21-year-old offered a timely reminder of his talents in midweek though as he impressed during Ajax’s topsy-turvy 4-4 Champions League draw away at Chelsea and Ten Hag only had positive words to say about a player who is starting to get back to his best.
“Of course we are very happy with (his performance at Stamford Bridge). We know he can do it, but at the start of the season he did not meet the requirements,” said the Dutchman.
“I am very happy that he can perform in a competition where a lot is at stake.”

Given that Ricardo Pereira is in the form of his life as Leicester’s right-back, keeping summer signing James Justin on the bench, a move to North London would make far more sense for Mazraoui.
Since selling Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid over the summer, the limited Kyle Walker-Peters and the error-prone Serge Aurier have done little to suggest they can solve a problem position long term.
