Tottenham Hotspur have once again come up empty-handed in their hunt for silverware.
Spurs took on Manchester City in Sunday’s Carabao Cup final, and had dreams of ending a 13-year trophy drought.
Sadly, Spurs were second best throughout and putting rookie coach Ryan Mason into a final against Pep Guardiola was always going to be a tough ask.
City only needed one goal to win it, and it came in the second half as Aymeric Laporte headed home Kevin De Bruyne’s free kick.
The wait for silverware goes on for Tottenham, and fans are left to reflect on another missed opportunity having turned in a pretty poor performance at Wembley.
Grime artist AJ Tracey is one of those fans, and he took to Twitter on Sunday to react to Tottenham’s performance.

Tracey noted that he loves Mason, but felt his setup was wrong – especially because he didn’t include Tanguy Ndombele in his team.
Tracey added that Lucas Moura was Tottenham’s best player on the day, but Mason took him off in a curious move, with Tracey and many other Spurs fans left baffled and frustrated.
