Visitors Middlesbrough had just 25% of the possession, took 11 shots of which four were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.
Middlesbrough are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with seven points from nine matches.
Boro will return to action next weekend when they take on Bournemouth at the Riverside Stadium in the Premier League.
