Nottingham Forest have signed Karim Ansarifard on a free transfer.

Forest have signed Ansarifard on a free transfer on a contract until the summer of 2020, as reported on BBC Sport.
There was a delay in the Reds making the signing official due to a work permit issue.
The 28-year-old Iran international forward has been without a club since being released by Greek giants Olympiakos in August.
Forest manager Karanka is pleased to have secure the services of Ansarifard, and has spoken highly of the former Osasuna forward on BBC Radio Nottingham.

Pushing for promotion
Lewis Grabban is Forest’s main striker and is playing well for the Reds at the moment.
The 30-year-old former Sunderland and Aston Villa loanee has scored nine goals and provided two assists in 12 Championship starts for Forest so far this season, according to WhoScored.
Forest, though, do need back-up, and Ansarifard provides the Reds with exactly that in a season in which the expectation is to win promotion to the Premier League.
