Nottingham Forest boss Aitor Karanka has been keen to add steel to his squad in recent times.

Aitor Karanka has clearly spotted a weakness in Nottingham Forest’s squad through his more recent transfer dealings.
Forest have been hugely active in the transfer window, and have even brought in players over the international break.
There is a common trend in the players that Forest have brought in recently too, in the sense that they are all powerful.
At the start of the summer, the Reds appeared to focus on strengthening their attack, with a whole host of creative options being added.
But Karanka has now added a physical spine to his team, with some tough-tacklers and aerial threats added.
Forest have brought in both Claudio Yacob and Panagiotis Tachtsidis to beef up their midfield.

Michael Hefele was also added on a loan deal, just before the end of the transfer window, to give Forest more power at the back.
Karanka is also set to sign Karim Ansarifard, who should add a target-man like presence up-top.
And when Forest return to action after the international break they should be far more of a physical threat to whatever opposition they come up against.
