The Middlesbrough boss saw his side beaten 3-1 by the Blues on Saturday afternoon.

Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka has told BT Sport he expects Everton to be at the top of the table this season.
Karanka took his side to Goodison Park on Saturday evening looking to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat to Crystal Palace.
It proved to be another disappointing result for them though as Ronald Koeman’s side secured a 3-1 win.
It was the Blues’ fourth straight win in the league and took them to second in the table behind Manchester City.

It represents their best start to a season in 38 years and Karanka believes that they will be competing at the top of the table after they dismantled his team.
“They have an amazing manager, an amazing team and I think they are going to be at the top of the table,” he told BT Sport.

There is no denying that Everton’s start to the season has been a fine one, to say the least.
They have picked up 13 points from a possible 15 so far, which is an incredible turnaround for a team who finished 11th in the last two seasons.
Other than Tottenham Hotspur they are yet to face any of the so called big sides though, and it will be interesting to how they fare in those games before properly assessing their credentials.
For now, they can focus on continuing to pick up points, starting with their trip to Bournemouth next weekend.
