Jermain Defoe is said to be open to moving to Nottingham Forest in the January transfer window.

If Nottingham Forest can unite Jermain Defoe and Lewis Grabban up-front they will have the ability to blow away the rest of the Championship.
The Nottingham Post claim that Defoe would be open to a move to the City Ground in January.
And if Forest have the funds available to bring in the 36-year-old striker they would be wise to do so.
Defoe could be a wonderful asset to Forest in the second half of the campaign, as he is such a clinical finisher.
With Grabban already leading the Championship’s scoring charts and looking like a huge threat, Forest are already a massive danger to the rest of the second tier.

But with Defoe also involved, they would surely have the best striking options in the division.
Forest would have to change system to get Grabban and Defoe working together up-front, but the switch would be worth it for Aitor Karanka.
And if Forest do have a chance of signing Defoe in January then they should ensure that they take it.
