Arsenal picked up a comfortable win on Sunday night as they beat Sheffield United 3-0 at Bramall Lane.
Alexandre Lacazette stole the show, opening the scoring with a calm finish following intricate build-up around the box.
Gabriel Martinelli added the second before Lacazette rounded off the scoring with Arsenal’s third, securing all three points.
After a 3-0 defeat to Liverpool and the 1-1 draw with Slavia Prague, Arsenal needed this win, and it was a particularly special day for Lacazette.
The Frenchman has been in decent form lately, Slavia game aside, racking up five goals in his last eight games for the Gunners.
Lacazette’s future is up in the air with just over a year left on his contract, but the 29-year-old brought up 50 Premier League goals with his second strike against Sheffield United.

50 goals in 124 games is a very good record for Lacazette, and he received a congratulatory message from Ainsley Maitland-Niles on Sunday.
Maitland-Niles may be on loan at West Bromwich Albion, but he’s clearly still paying close attention to Arsenal as he congratulated Lacazette.
Who knows if either player will be at Arsenal next season?
