Sunderland winger Aiden McGeady has suggested to The Times what Celtic need to do in order to win against Rangers at Ibrox.

Celtic will take on Old Firm rivals Rangers away from home at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.

The Hoops are in good form at the moment and will fancy their chances of winning against the Gers.

Rangers are in great form as well, and will know that a win against Celtic will blow the Scottish Premiership title wide open.

Sunderland winger McGeady, who started his professional club football career at Celtic and was on the books of the Hoops until 2010, has suggested why Brendan Rodgers’s side to do in order to win the Old Firm derby.

McGeady told The Times: “I thought in their last game Celtic would wipe the floor with Rangers but they didn’t and for me, Rangers were the better team.

“So you never know. Celtic are stronger in every department, but will they turn up? That’s the question.

“If Celtic play the free-flowing attacking football they are capable of, then Rangers shouldn’t have a chance.”
