Everton have loaned Aiden McGeady out to Preston North End until the end of the season.
Aiden McGeady has hinted to the Lancashire Evening Post that he no longer sees a future for himself at Everton.
McGeady has left Everton on a loan move to join Preston North End until the end of the season.
The Republic of Ireland international has impressed hugely since moving to Deepdale, and his latest brace has hit the headlines.
McGeady scored two belters for Preston, as they got past Brentford, but he admits that staying with Everton next season is highly unlikely.

“I’ve still got another year at Everton but I think it is quite clear that I’m not part of the manager’s plans there,” he said.
“I will see how it goes until the end of the season and see what happens in the summer. If it comes to it and Preston want to offer me something, I like it here.”
McGeady fell out of favour at Everton towards the back end of last season, and Ronald Koeman was quick to write the 30-year-old’s chances off at Goodison Park.

McGeady’s form at Preston will have attracted the attentions of other clubs, so he should have no shortage of potential suitors in the summer, if he is made available.
McGeady’s good form at Preston has helped Simon Grayson’s side put together an impressive campaign so far.
North End are currently in 11th place in the Championship table, despite having one of the smallest budgets in the division.
