Rangers have snapped up goalkeeper Aidan McAdams from Old Firm rivals Celtic – and he has taken to Twitter after completing his move.
The focus at Ibrox has largely been on improving Pedro Caixinha’s first-team squad, with eight new signings – Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso, Ryan Jack, Carlos Pena, Daniel Candeias, Dalcio, Eduardo Herrera and Alfredo Morelos – arriving to join the Gers.

However, Rangers are also looking to bolster their youth ranks as well, with some new blood needed after losing Billy Gilmour to Chelsea earlier this summer.
Now, the Gers have confirmed on their official website that goalkeeper Aidan McAdams has joined the club, making the rare move from Celtic to Ibrox.

McAdams, 18, has been a regular for Scotland at youth level, but having struggled to break through with Celtic, he has now penned a three-year deal with Rangers.
The teenager will now head to Ibrox in a bid to further his career, and ultimately push for a first-team spot to challenge the likes of Wes Foderingham and Ben Alnwick.

After completing his surprise move across Glasgow, McAdams took to Twitter earlier today in order to send a message to fans, claiming he is ‘buzzing’ to have joined Rangers and can’t wait to get started with the club.
