Paul Merson has predicted on SportsKeeda that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will finish in the Premier League top four this season ahead of Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United.
The former Arsenal star believes that Liverpool and Manchester City will end up in the Premier League top four this season.
The Sky Sports pundit has predicted Arsenal to finish in the UEFA Champions League places ahead of Tottenham and Manchester United.
It seems that Merson has changed his prediction about Arsenal and Tottenham.
It was only last week that the Englishman predicted on SportsKeeda that “the Premier League top-four this season will be Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal in whatever order”.

Paul Merson on Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur top-four prediction
Merson wrote on SportsKeeda on Thursday: “The race for the top-four spots in the Premier League is also tantalizingly poised, as things stand.
“With Thomas Tuchel gone, it’ll be interesting to see how Chelsea adapt to life under Graham Potter, as the former Brighton & Hove Albion boss looks to stamp his authority at the club and kickstart a new project.
“Liverpool have been nowhere near as good as they were last Premier League season, but I still fancy them to secure a top-four finish.
“Judging by how the current campaign has unfolded, I think Arsenal will make it ahead of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, but a lot could change between now and the end of the season.”
In our view, both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur could end up in the Premier League top four this season.
After all, it is only the middle of September, and there is a lot of football to be played this season.
Manchester City are pretty much certain to finish in the UEFA Champions League places, but given how Liverpool have started the Premier League campaign, Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United all will feel that they will be able to take the Merseyside club’s place.
