Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United have decided to sell Martin Dubravka to Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Newcastle and Manchester United now have reached an agreement in principle over the transfer of Dubravka.
Dubravka will move to the Red Devils on a loan deal, with Ten Hag’s side having the option to make it permanent next summer for £5 million, according to Romano.
The Italian journalist has added that the final details are being discussed now, stating that the transfer will be completed soon.
Martin Dubravka to leave Newcastle United for Manchester United

Transfer makes sense
In our view, Martin Dubravka’s potential move from Newcastle United to Manchester United makes sense for all parties concerned.
Nick Pope is the number one goalkeeper at Newcastle now, so Dubravka would not get much playing time at the Magpies.
Yes, David de Gea is the number one goalkeeper at Manchester United, but the Spaniard does make mistakes.
Even if Dubravka plays second fiddle to De Gea at Old Trafford, he would still be part of arguably the biggest club in England.
As for Manchester United, they will get a capable goalkeeper who has done well in the Premier League and could step in for De Gea at short notice.
