Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want former Gers forward Kyle Lafferty back at Ibrox.
Kyle Lafferty at Ibrox club Rangers
Ibrox club Rangers reportedly want to sign Lafferty from Scottish Premiership rivals Hearts in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Lafferty’s agents with meet Hearts owner Ann Budge and manager Craig Levein at Tynecastle today and will try to broker a move to Rangers.
According to The Daily Record, Rangers will make an offer of £300,000 after seeing their initial bid of £200,000 turned down, with the former Norwich City forward himself keen on a move back to Ibrox, having been at the Gers from 2008 until 2012.
Lafferty is reportedly frustrated at Hearts’ demanding £1 million as transfer fee for him.

Rangers move closer?
It seems that Lafferty and his agents are pushing for a move to Rangers, and one suspects that in the end the former Norwich City forward will get his wish.
It is hard to see Hearts retain the services of a player who reportedly wants to move, and it would be best if they come to an agreement with Rangers.
With Lafferty’s agents to reportedly hold talks with Hearts, the future of the former Rangers striker could be sorted today.
