Olivier Giroud could leave Arsenal in January and there is more good news for his Premier League suitors.

Everton and West Ham United seem well positioned to sign Olivier Giroud from Arsenal in January after his agent told Foot Mercato that the striker has no intention of going back to France.
According to Foot Mercarto, Giroud is looking for more regular first-team football amid fears that he could miss out on France’s World Cup squad this summer due to a lack of action at the Emirates.
The 31-year-old has only started one Premier League game this season, although he has still managed four goals off the bench and begun all of Arsenal’s games in the EFL Cup and Europa League.

Giroud’s representative Michael Manuello has told Foot Mercato that they will listen to offers to leave the Gunners next month, but has denied contact with Marseille and ruled out a return to Ligue 1.
Manuello is quoted by the French publication as saying: “Olivier will not come back to France. Unless there is a change in his state of mind, to date the intention is not to return to France.
“There has been no new approach from Marseille. I have no information that Marseille was trying to contact us.”
“Now, depending on the offers, we will sit around a table and talk. The most important thing is to know what will be offered or not this winter, to find a better project.”

As The Mirror reports, Everton came close to signing Giroud in the summer, while West Ham are interested in bringing in the target man in the New Year, according to Football London.
The Sun understands that Giroud is keen to remain in London, but West Ham’s impending relegation fight may put him off and keep Everton in the hunt if offers from France go unconsidered.
Giroud’s hopes of a January move may have taken a hit after he picked up an injury and was substituted in the second half of Arsenal’s EFL Cup quarter-final win over West Ham last night.
