£7m Everton striker Henry Onyekuru still hasn’t played a Premier League game and CSKA Moscow have tried to take advantage.

God knows where Henry Onyekuru will be playing his football next season but, one thing’s for sure, the Everton youngster won’t be leaving Goodison Park for CSKA Moscow, according to Sport24.
In an ideal world, the 22-year-old Nigerian would be heading back to Merseyside after an exceptional loan spell at Galatasaray, ready to fight for a place in Marco Silva’s starting XI.
But despite scoring 16 goals and inspiring Gala to the Super Lig title during his time in Turkey, work permit issues mean Onyekuru’s wait for a Premier League debut is showing no sign of coming to an end.
It is two years since Everton snapped up one of Europe’s most coveted attackers, paying KAS Eupen £7 million according to the BBC, but it seems increasingly likely that a player who idolises Arsenal legend Thierry Henry will be either sold or loaned out again in the next few weeks.

Le Soir claim that Napoli have made a £14 million bid and, while it remains to be seen how Onyekuru feels about joining the Serie A runners-up, he clearly has no interest in trying his hand in Russia.
“We had an offer from CSKA, but the player decided to refuse the Moscow club,” his agent, Guillam Kostet-Barmada, told Sport24.
CSKA have signed one Everton player already this summer, Croatia midfielder Nikola Vlasic, but Onyekuru won’t be following in his footsteps.
