The agent of reported Wolves and Tottenham Hotspur target Bartlomiej Dragowski has indicated that the Fiorentina goalkeeper will not be swapping Serie A for the Premier League, while speaking to Fiorentina News.
What is it with Poland and goalkeepers?
It speaks volumes about the strength in depth available to Poland boss Paulo Sousa that Dragowski, one of the most talented shot-stoppers in Italian football, has just one cap under his belt.
He wasn’t even included in the squad for Euro 2020.
A big-money move to England would do Dragowski’s international prospects no harm, however.
La Nazione reports that Wolverhampton Wanderers are willing to pay £10 million for Dragowski, who shot to fame when he made a record-breaking 18 saves in one game during his loan spell at Empoli two years ago.
Tottenham, West Ham United and Southampton have made enquiries of their own (Viola News).
But when asked specifically about whether Dragowski would stay at Fiorentina, his agent did his level best to keep things quiet.
Is Bartolmiej Dragowski heading to the Premier League?
“Sure (there’s interest). There are many teams following Bart, but at the moment we are under contract with Fiorentina and this is the most important thing for us,” Mariusz Kulezsa explained.
“Yes of course, we are excited and looking forward to starting next season. I think a club like Fiorentina should be fighting for the top six in Italy.”

Kulezsa even shrugged off the uncertainty surrounding the managerial situation at Fiorentina, with Gennaro Gattuso walking away from the Estadio Artemio Franchi after just 23 days in the job.
“I don’t know exactly the details and what really happened, but if such a decision was made it must have been the best one for the club. We have to look to the future and focus on the new project,” the agent added.
Wolves have identified Dragowski as a potential replacement for the Roma-linked Rui Patricio at Molineux, although the 23-year-old does not appear to be their number one target.
The Black Country giants are in talks to sign Portuguese shot-stopper Jose Sa in a deal worth around £9 million.
