Neil Lennon’s Celtic wanted to sign Amir Rrahmani in the summer transfer window, says his agent.

Rrahmani moved to Italian club Hellas from Dinamo Zagreb, and the 25-year-old central defender’s agent has said that Celtic wanted to secure the services of the Kosovo international before he made the switch.
Aliaj has suggested that the presence of Ivan Juric as the Hellas manager played an important role in Rrahmani making the move.
According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old central defender has played seven matches in Serie A so far this season.
Aliaj told Calcio Hellas: “He had played in the Europa League and came from an already good level.
“Juric was also important for me as an agent because in the summer there were Standard Liege and Celtic, but seeing that he was on the bench of Hellas we decided with Amir to make this choice.”

Moving on
Rrahman is a very good defender and would have been a good signing for Celtic, but the Hoops have to move on.
The Glasgow giants signed Christopher Jullien in the summer transfer window, and the French defender has done well for Neil Lennon’s side so far this season.
Celtic have won the Scottish Premiership title for the past eight seasons and will be confident of clinching it this time around as well.
