The Everton midfielder looked like he was going to leave Goodison Park in January.

Everton ace Idrissa Gueye’s former agent Thierno Seydi sat down for an exclusive interview with Senegalese media outlet APS, and suggested that there will be a lot of interest from big clubs in the midfielder’s services this summer.
The 29-year-old joined the Toffees from Aston Villa in the summer of 2016 for around £7 million, and he has gone on to be a real hit at Goodison Park, making 102 appearances in all competitions in the process.
Gueye was linked with a move away from Everton during the January transfer window, but the Merseyside outfit rejectedParis Saint-Germain’s £21.5m bid for the tenacious midfielder, according to BBC Sport.
And Thierno Seydi, who parted ways with the Senegal international earlier this year, suggested that there will be even more interest in his former client’s signature in the summer, when speaking exclusively to Senegalese media outlet APS:

“It’s true that we would have liked him to go to PSG, but this approach brought him to the fore to play in the best teams in the world. I’m convinced that a lot of big teams with be interested in him.”
The 29-year-old is still under contract with Everton until the summer of 2022, so the Merseyside club hold all of the cards, but if a big offer comes in for his services in the summer, it might be hard for them to keep hold of Senegalese ace.
