Arsenal need to find midfield reinforcements this summer, and their former star Aaron Ramsey is one name who has been strongly linked.
With Dani Ceballos heading back to Real Madrid and Granit Xhaka potentially on his out, Edu needs to find support for Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny.
A host of names have been linked, and there has been some talk of Aaron Ramsey heading back to the club just two years since leaving for Juventus.
Arsenal’s links with Ramsey
Calciomercato claimed earlier this month that Arsenal had held talks with Juventus over a deal to bring Ramsey back to North London in a swap for Hector Bellerin.
Calciomercato were back at it again on Tuesday, claiming that Ramsey had decided that he wanted to rejoin Ramsey this summer and ‘go home’.
The Welsh midfielder has struggled with Juve, but was a favourite at Arsenal with 64 goals in 369 games across 11 years with the Gunners.

Ramsey’s agent hits back
Ramsey hasn’t commented on the rumours himself, but agent David Baldwin has taken to Twitter to claim that there is ‘not a shred of truth’ in the reports from Calciomercato.
That seemingly rules out the prospect of Ramsey heading back to Arsenal any time soon, and in truth, that’s no great shock.
Ramsey earns a staggering £400,000-a-week at Juventus, and Arsenal can’t pay that. Add in that Ramsey is now 30 and has suffered injury problems for years, and this just isn’t what the Gunners need right now.
