The agent of Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris admits that the Premier League veteran will consider his options as clubs in Saudi Arabia look to offer the World Cup winner a fresh start.
His contract may have one year still to run but Lloris, after a season beset with high-profile mistakes, is facing up to a year on the bench if he opts to see out of the final 12 months of his current deal in North London.
Tottenham Hotspur appear to have set their sights on bringing in a younger, more technically-capable shot-stopper; David Raya and Andre Onana are among those linked.

Is Hugo Lloris leaving Tottenham Hotspur?
Hugo Lloris, at the age of 36, is unlikely to be too enamoured by the prospect of spending one of his final seasons in a backseat role, especially with clubs in the Middle East offering the France captain the opportunity to triple his £100,000-a-week wages (The Athletic).
“He will study all the options available to him,” Lloris agent tells La Parisien. “(But) there is nothing concrete yet.”
La Parisien adds that a move to the Middle East has been on the cards for a number of months now. It is not yet certain which Saudi club are interested. There may be a possibility that Lloris reunites with his former Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo at Pro League leaders Al-Ittihad.
Cristiano Ronaldo is currently at Al-Nassr. Reports suggest that Lionel Messi could be on his way too in the near future.
Former England international Darren Bent, meanwhile, believes Everton’s Jordan Pickford would be the ideal replacement for Lloris in the capital; the Toffees ace boasting that much-coveted combination of excellent distribution and cat-like reflexes.
“That’s the place I think he should go. I think Spurs for me is the one that makes the most sense,” Bent tells talkSPORT (2 May, 4pm).
“Pickford (is also) very good with his feet. He is a good goalkeeper. A modern day goalkeeper, cause he is good with his feet.”
