Reports linking Andriy Yarmolenko with a move away from West Ham United are little more than ‘fiction’, the Ukrainian international’s agent has told Meta Sports.
Then again, the man himself only has himself to blame as speculation continues to rage about his future at the London Stadium.
Speaking to Ukrinform back in March, Yarmolenko admitted that he would be open to the idea of returning to Dinamo Kiev if such an opportunity arose.
The 30-year-old forward enjoyed probably the finest years of his career in his homeland but, despite refusing to rule out a second spell in the capital, it seems that Yarmolenko still has unfinished business to take care of in the Premier League first.
“The manager is happy with his game and happy that Yarmolenko is part of the team,” Sergey Serebrennikov says, before rubbishing claims of a potential move to Turkey.
“Talk about Fenerbahce are nothing more than fiction and creativity of the Turkish press. No offence to Fenerbahce, but the Turkish club and West Ham are on different levels.

“The English club is willing to keep Yarmolenko. When a club wants to sell a player, it declares so, but there were no such statements from the English club regarding Yarmolenko.
“The most important thing for Andriy now is to get fit after his injury. He will definitely help West Ham in the remaining matches of this season and I am sure will continue to play in England.
“He is one of the leaders of the current West Ham squad.”
Yarmolenko, a £22 million signing from Borussia Dortmund two years ago, is certainly one of the most gifted footballers at David Moyes’s disposal and the three-month postponement of the 2019/20 season could benefit him immensely.
After all, the veteran winger is set to make his return to action after a prolonged spell on the sidelines.
And with The Hammers starting relegation in the face, his match-changing qualities could be very useful indeed.
